About Unfolding Health

Hi! I am Vicki Ibbotson- Massage Therapist in Littleton, Colorado.    I love to be out in nature and revel at how interconnected we are to the world around us.  Sometimes we get so caught up in the modern world that we forget that WE TOO are a part of nature.  We forget to listen to our bodies.  We have that ability to heal ourselves in the things we eat, the way we move and the things we think. Massage is just one of those ingredients to optimal health.  I love to work with my hands and create things.  But most of all I love to work with muscles and feel how a once tight muscle can melt.  In turn, that person can leave feeling more relaxed and flexible than they were when they walked in the door.  THAT gives my life meaning!!

I grew up in Toledo, Ohio, graduated from BGSU with a Bachelor of Science.  After raising 3 talented daughters, owning a landscape company, and living in many parts of the country, I ended up in Denver to be near the mountains, my parents and siblings.  I studied Massage Therapy at Colorado School of Healing Arts and am a constant learner.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Historic Downtown Littleton, Colorado at Ancient Art Health Center with an advanced background in Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Massage Cupping, Prenatal Massage, and Healing Touch.  These specialties have enabled me to  concentrate on relieving jaw pain, neck/shoulder pain, low back pain, and foot pain.  Having been a gardener/landscape designer in the past, I understand how we can use our bodies in ways that can create chronic pain and I strive to help bring the body back into balance.  I am happy to listen closely to your needs, whether it be to get in and find those “spots” or relax the stress away.

I have recently been passionate in providing massage as a natural support for those suffering from the chronic pain of Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis.  In working in conjunction with other health care professionals to provide pain management, stress reduction and relaxation through the use of massage, reflexology and massage cupping, I hope to relieve some of the pain.

(That goes for our bodies too!)
